Directions

Take a big bowl and whisk the dried ingredients cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, all purpose flour, and salt together. And, keep it aside.

In a medium bowl, beat some eggs, granulated sugar or brown sugar, oil or margarine, and add some drops of vanilla essence, and mix it together into a completely smooth batter.

Mix the wet ingredients and dry ingredients together smoothly. Add some buttermilk slowly and beat the batter, but remember not to over beat it. 

Line the muffin pan by placing every cupcake stand liner into it. With the help of a spoon, carefully pour the batter into the liners. It is a good idea to fill only halfway (this is imperative! only halfway!) to avoid spilling over the sides or sinking. Add chunks of chocolate in the centre of every cupcake.

Bake the cupcakes for 18-21 minutes. Insert a toothpick on the corners, and if it comes out clean, cupcakes are ready. Allow the devilish chocolate cupcakes to cool down completely before frosting.
